Acceptable Use Policy

Profluence is built for legitimate brand, creator and enterprise intelligence. This policy describes what the platform may be used for — and what is strictly prohibited.

Last updated: June 27, 2026

Permitted use

  • Brand intelligence, reputation monitoring, and competitive analysis for your own organization.
  • Creator analytics, audience insight, and content strategy for accounts you own or are authorized to manage.
  • Enterprise procurement, due diligence and partnership evaluation using public information.
  • Internal research, reporting and decision support consistent with applicable law.

Prohibited conduct

  • Harassment, doxxing, stalking, or targeted intimidation of any individual.
  • Surveillance of private individuals, minors, or non-public figures.
  • Generating or distributing deceptive impersonation, deepfakes, or non-consensual sexual content.
  • Election interference, coordinated inauthentic behavior, or disinformation campaigns.
  • Automated decisions affecting employment, credit, housing, insurance, or government benefits.
  • Targeting individuals based on protected characteristics.
  • Reverse engineering, scraping the Profluence service, or reselling raw outputs without a written agreement.

Platform compliance

When you connect a third-party platform (such as Meta, Google, TikTok, X, or Reddit), you agree to comply with that platform's terms of service. Profluence will not request, store, or process data in ways that those platforms prohibit.

We honor platform deletion requests, scope downgrades, and rate limits. If a platform revokes access, the corresponding data is removed from active processing.

Automation & rate limits

Programmatic access is subject to per-account rate limits and the published API terms. Attempts to bypass limits, distribute credentials, or aggregate workspaces to evade quotas are prohibited.

AI-specific rules

Outputs from Profluence's AI are advisory. You may not present them as guaranteed predictions, use them as the sole basis for automated decisions affecting individuals, or strip the context and confidence ranges that ship with them.

See our AI Transparency page for the full posture.

Enforcement

Violations may result in feature throttling, suspension, or termination of access — without notice in severe cases. We cooperate with lawful requests from platforms and authorities where required.

To report abuse of Profluence by another user, contact us with the workspace, account, or content involved. We acknowledge abuse reports within one business day.
